Fragrance Concentrates or Concentrated perfume oils are naturally extracted from flowers, woods, spices, etc. As the name suggests, these are concentrated oils which do not contain any additives like alcohol during their production. This in turn makes them very much stronger than any of the perfume sprays. This method of making scents using concentrated oils has been around since ancient times in Egypt.

A fragrance concentration refers to the strength that a fragrance has. Perfumes with a higher fragrance concentration contain more perfume oils and less alcohol. Fragrance concentrations are broken into categories including perfume, Eau de perfume, eau de toilette, eau de cologne, and Eau Fraiche.

Perfume – Concentration of perfume oils – 20-40%

Eau de perfume – Concentration of perfume oils – 15-20%

Eau de Toilette – Concentration of perfume oils – 5-15%

Eau de Cologne – Concentration of perfume oils – 2-5%

Eau Fraiche – Concentration of perfume oils – 1-3%

Nowadays, a lot of people have started to prefer using oils over perfumes due to 2 main reasons:

  1 –  It has the highest concentration of the scent which in turn means longer lasting fragrance

  2 –  It does not have alcohol so it is good to be applied to sensitive skin types as well.

Concentrated perfume oils come in glass dropper bottles or in roller ball forms.
